【摘要】:Thisclassificationcoverspairsofscalesforclassifyinganaspectoftheserviceabilityofanofficefacility,thatis,thecapabilityofanofficefacilitytomeetcertainpossiblerequirementsforperformancetosupporttypicalofficework.Withinthataspectofserviceability,eachpairofscales,showninthrough,areforclassifyingonetopicofserviceability.EachparagraphinanOccupantRequirementScale(seeFigs.1through6)summarizesonelevelofserviceabilityonthattopic,whichoccupantsmightrequire.ThematchingentryintheFacilityRatingScale(seeFigs.1through6)isatranslationoftherequirementintoadescriptionofcertainfeaturesofafacilitywhich,takenincombination,indicatethatthefacilityislikelytomeetthatlevelofrequiredserviceability.TheentriesintheFacilityRatingScale(seeFigs.1through6)areindicativeandnotcomprehensive.Theyareforquickscanningtoestimateapproximately,quickly,andeconomically,howwellanofficefacilityislikelytomeettheneedsofoneoranothertypeofoccupantgroupovertime.Theentriesarenotformeasuring,knowing,orevaluatinghowanofficefacilityisperforming.Thisclassificationcanbeusedtoestimatethelevelofserviceabilityofanexistingfacility.Itcanalsobeusedtoestimatetheserviceabilityofafacilitythathasbeenplannedbutnotyetbuilt,suchasoneforwhichsingle-linedrawingsandoutlinespecificationshavebeenprepared.Thisclassificationindicateswhatwouldcauseafacilitytoberatedatacertainlevelofserviceabilitybutdoesnotstatehowtoconductaserviceabilityratingnorhowtoassignaserviceabilityscore.ThatinformationisfoundinPracticeE1334.ThescalesinthisclassificationarecomplimentarytoandcompatiblewithPracticeE1334.Eachrequirestheother.
