【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsareusedtoindicatetheintegrityofthecontainerandclosuresysteminthedistributionenvironment.Thesetestmethodsmeasuretheabilityofthecontainerandclosuresystemtopreventleakagewhenstoredortransportedupright,inverted,orontheside.Thesetestmethodsallowforcomparisonofcontainer/closuredesignsofthreadedandlug-styleclosuresofsimilarordifferentmaterials,ordifferentmanufacturers.Thesetestsaresuitableforpackagingdevelopment,engineeringandtoolingevaluations.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofgrossleaksinrigidandsemi-rigidcontainers(upto4L(1.06gal))withthreadedorlug-styleclosures.Suchtestsmaybeusedtoindicatetheabilityofaliquidcontainertosurvivethedistributionenvironmentwithoutleaking.Thesetestmethodsmaynotbesuitabletodeterminetheleakresistanceofcontainersintendedfortransportofhazardousmaterials.1.2TestMethods:1.2.1TestMethodA,ShippingContainerVibrationandStorageTest,coverstheabilityofashippingcontaineranditsinteriorpackagingtoprotectthecontentsfromleakageaftertransportationinducedvibrationandhigh-temperaturestorage.1.2.2TestMethodB,ShippingContainerVibrationandVacuumChamberTest,issuitableforindividualcontainersandisusuallylessseverethanTestMethodA.TheadvantageofTestMethodBistheshortnessofthetest.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconsernsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
