【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletothermal-linksintendedforincorporationinelectricalappliances,electronicequipmentandcomponentpartsthereof,normallyintendedforuseindoors,inordertoprotectthemagainstexcessivetemperaturesunderabnormalconditions.NOTE1Theequipmentneednotbedesignedtogenerateheat.NOTE2Theeffectivenessoftheprotectionagainstexcessivetemperatureslogicallydependsuponthepositionandmethodofmountingofthethermal-link,aswellasuponthecurrentwhichitiscarrying.NOTE3AttentionisdrawntothefactthattheexternalcreepagedistancesandclearancesspecifiedinTable3mayinsomecasesbesmallerthanthoserequiredbycertainapplianceorequipmentstandards.Insuchcases,additionalmeansshouldbeprovidedwhenathermal-linkismountedintheequipmentinordertoadjustthecreepagedistancesandclearancestothevaluesrequiredbytherelevantequipmentstandard.Thisstandardmaybeapplicabletothermal-linksforuseunderconditionsotherthanindoors,providedthattheclimaticandothercircumstancesintheimmediatesurroundingsofsuchthermal-linksarecomparablewiththoseinthisstandard.Thisstandardmaybeapplicabletothermal-linksintheirsimplestforms(e.g.meltingstripsorwires),providedthatmoltenmaterialsexpelledduringfunctioncannotadverselyinterferewiththesafeuseoftheequipment,especiallyinthecaseofhand-heldorportableequipment,irrespectiveofitsposition.Thisstandardisapplicabletothermal-linkswitharatedvoltagenotexceeding690Va.c.ord.c.andaratedcurrentnotexceeding63A.Theobjectofthisstandardisa)toestablishuniformrequirementsforthermal-links,b)todefinemethodsoftest,c)toprovideusefulinformationfortheapplicationofthermal-linksinequipment.Thisstandardisnotapplicabletothermal-linksusedunderextremeconditionssuchascorrosiveorexplosiveatmospheres.Thisstandardisnotapplicabletothermal-linkstobeusedincircuitsona.c.withafrequencylowerthan45Hzorhigherthan62Hz.
