【摘要】:Thistestmethodgivesanobjectivemeasureofthetemperaturesensitivityofathermalimagingsystem(relativetoastandardreferencefilter)exclusiveofamonitor,withemphasisonthedetector(s)andpreamplifier.Note18212;Testvaluesobtainedunderidealizedlaboratoryconditionsmayormaynotcorrelatedirectlywithserviceperformance.Thistestmethodaffordsaconvenientmeansforperiodicallymonitoringtheperformanceofagiventhermalimagingsystem.NETDrelatestominimumresolvabletemperaturedifferenceasdescribedinTestMethodE1213.Thus,anincreaseinNETDmaybemanifestasalossofdetailinimagery.IntercomparisonsbasedsolelyonNETDfiguresmaybemisleading.Note28212;NETDdependsonvariousfactorssuchasspectralbandwidthandbackgroundtemperature.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthenoiseequivalenttemperaturedifference(NETD;NET)ofthermalimagingsystemsoftheconventionalforward-lookinginfrared(FLIR)orothertypesthatutilizeanoptical-mechanicalscanner;itdoesnotincludecharge-coupleddevicesorpyroelectricvidicons.1.2Partsofthistestmethodhavebeenformulatedundertheassumptionofaphotonicdetector(s)atastandardbackgroundtemperatureof295K(22C).Besidesnonuniformity,testsmadeatotherbackgroundtemperaturesmayresultinimpairmentofprecisionandbias.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
